Description: A very large impressive New York Armoire attributed to J. Meeks New York. This armoire has gothic arched doors, well figured veneers scroll feet. It is very similar to the one pictured in the Meeks advertisement of 1833. It retains its original fitted interior drawer unit, its lock and hardware. The Armoire dismantles for easy moving. The Armoire came out of a Louisiana Plantation Home. (Provenance available) |
